Quality of Stonework Can and Does Vary Significantly

This is easily evidenced by looking closely at two stone jobs using identical stone. The conformity of stone placement, the conformity and quality of jointing, the coloring of mix and overall presentation between two jobs, can and often does vary significantly.  Various environmental factors, such as the time of year the work is done, may also affect the finished product quality, but the most important factor affecting the quality of stonework is the mason doing the work. 

Stonework is art and as such we believe that stonework should be done as a craft based business.  We are a craft based business.  We don’t sub out our jobs and we don’t allow employees to lay stone.
